Everyday Life: Fashion

Fashion is the thing that is always changing. It is not always something that we like but it can be something that someone else likes. For example in my opinion I do not think that Lady Gaga wears cute clothes but she likes her clothes and that is really all that matters. My fashion sense is changing also. I used to wear jeans and a t-shirt but now I wear clothes a bit more stylish. In my opinion the definition of fashion is somebody's  opinion of what clothes look good on them. Now I have a question for you. What is the definition of fashion.

Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the food and the company. Get stuffed with all that food! Have a great Thanksgiving.

Stay Active:COACH POTATO: NO ACTIVE KID:YES

Are you siting on your bed right now watching tv? If you are you need to stop what you are doing and get active. Sitting down in the house is no way to stay active. I call that being a couch potato. I  MYSELF am a coach potato but I shouldn't be. I am trying to become more of an active kid. You don't have to go outside to get active.You can stay in your house and do it. For example, I have a wii and I play Just Dance 2 all of the time. I play Just Dance 2 for about 5-6 hours tops. You don't have to play it that long but I love the game.To be honest every time I get done playing it I go to sleep or watch tv.  Another way you can get active is by playing sports. I don't play sports but that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
Remamber this when you are just sitting around at home.

BOOKS: The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod

Do you like books about friends,family,and a teenage vampire? If you do I think this series is for you.

Junior high really stink for thirteen year old Vladimir Tod. Bullies harass him, the principal is dogging him, and the girl he likes prefers his best friends. Oh, and Vlad has a secret: His mother was human, but his father was a vampire. With no idea of the extent of his powers and no one to teach him. Vlad struggles daily with his blood cravings and his enlarged fangs. When a strange substitute teacher begins to question him a little too closely. Vlad worries that his cover id is about to be blown. But then he realizes he had a much bigger problem:He's being hunted by a vampire killer who is closing in . . . fast.

I loved this series and I am quite sad that it ended! I think that you will enjoy this too!

Wanna Have Fun: Vacation

Close your eyes and picture this. You are on the beach! The sun is bestowing its gentle rays upon you and your thirst becomes to overcome you. The waiter comes and gives you something to drink. You wish that you could live like this everyday.
Vacation! My definition of vacation is a place away from home. Vacations are relaxing and fun. I'm pretty sure that most people have been to Disney World. This is one form of vacation. At Disney World you usually play at the theme parks all day. Although sometimes you can relax at Disney World you mostly play. Another version of vacation is Mexico. Before the issues that they are having it was a nice place. I actually went to Mexico. It was very relaxing and peaceful.
Everyone likes to get away from home sometimes!

Stay Active:Martial Arts

Martial arts is very cool and helps you get a good workout but you don't just get good overnight you have to practice practice practice. My father is a master of the art and is teaching me. Right now I'm a yellow belt but I think I'm about to get my blue belt. You may not believe this but I've been working towards my black belt for about  year. As you can see it takes time to get a black belt. Don't just think of martial arts as just a bunch of punches and kicks you can add a football move, a gymnastics moves, and even a cheer leading move. You can add anything that you want to but make sure that it coincides with your technique.  You can sign up at your local community center or someplace around town. Have fun with your training! Hiyah!!!!!!!

Everday Life: Twist in Time Technolgy

I'm pretty sure that you know that we use technology a lot more than we used to. For example I learned how to use the computer when I was about 3-4 years old. It doesn't make me a genius it just shows that a lot of people use technology and are taught it alot earlier. My mom didn't start really using a computer until late years of high school early years of college. A lot of technology is different ftrom when sdhe was around like video games. They are always changing.  If you think about it game boys used to be the thing every kid wanted but now those are a thing of the past and they weren't built so long ago. Phones have changed so much too. We went from having phones the size of an overnight bag to little dainty ones that fit in our pockets. They are also making it easier to carry around your computer and your email.

In one of my earlier post I told you about books that I like, now I am going to tell you that every book in that list that I wrote was or is being turned into a movie. This is the new one The Hunger Games. 

This next  one is Harry Potter. I won't put 7 trailers on here but I will show you the most recent.

UniverSOUL Circus

Have you ever been to the circus? Well I've been a couple of times in my life but to be honest the one I went to last weekend was the coolest. It was called UNIVERSOUL CIRCUS. I had so much fun! Universoul circus has countries from around the world doing different acts. There was one group from China. This wasn't like any other circus you got to sing and dance. There actually was only one clown. If you are thinking this there was nobody getting out of a small car either. Yes we did have the high wire act though. Now I have a request, please tell your parents or grandparents cousins aunts or uncles about this circus. I'm not just telling you this to gain publicity for their circus but so that you can get your parents to take you. Hope you make it there!                  

BOOKS!

At my school we have a program called accelerated reader(A.R.). It is a website that monitors our reading comprehension. It gives you points every time you take a test and pass it. Now maybe your school doesn't have this program but you should still read books. Some of my favorites are Harry Potter,The Hunger Games, and Maximum Ride. They are all really good books. Tell me if you enjoy them or if you need other options.

Author's of children's books

I think that author's of children's books teach powerful lessons. An example of that is a book called Listen Buddy by Helen Lester. The story is about a bunny that never listens to his parents. He goes out to explore and almost gets eaten by a monster. The lesson of the story is to listen to your parents and others. Also author's have a way of adding facts to fictional stories like The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. In the book you read about Egyptian artifacts and gods while enjoying  a story about 2 kids that find out about a piece of family history that they never knew about it.  Author's of children's books have to be creative, and have a good imagination to make books that teach children lessons and actually want to read.
